BY PLANE
There are 2 major international
airports near Kusadasi. The first one isIzmir International Airport
that is 80 kms driving from Kusadasi. There are different ways to
reach Kusadasi from this airport.
One way is by taxi; it takes 1 hour and costs around 50 Euro.
Secondly, one can take the shuttle to Izmir which runs regularly
between downtown and the airport. From downtown Izmir you can take a
taxi to the bus station of Izmir. There is bus service every half an
hour to Kusadasi from Izmir bus station. Please bear in mind that
the first bus is at 06:30 AM and the last bus is at 23:30 PM.
Next, you may also rent a car at the airport from car rental company
stands at the arrival terminal. We suggest that you reserve a car
before you arrive during high season.
The second major international
airport is Bodrum International Airport that is 130 kms driving from
Kusadasi. There are 3 ways to reach Kusadasi from Bodrum Airport.
Your first choice is to take a taxi, which will take 2 hours driving
and will cost around 80 Euro. Your second choice is to take a
shuttle to Bodrum and take a bus from Bodrum bus station to
Kusadasi, which runs every 2 hours. Your third choice is to rent a
car at the airport. We suggest that you reserve a car before you
arrive during high season.

island Samos. There are 2 ferries everyday between Samos and

You can visit Kusadasi by cruise
ships or you can take a ferry to Kusadasi from the Greek island
Samos. There are 2 ferries everyday between Samos and Kusadasi
during high season. There is one early in the morning and another
one in the afternoon.
Kusadasi is one of the most important and visited seaports of
Turkey. The nearby Ephesus, House of Virgin Marry, Temple of
Artemis, draw many visitors from all over the world. Most of these
visitors come by cruise ships and some through ferries from the
Greek island Samos, which is situated only 20 nautical miles south
west of Kusadasi.
The ferries leave regularly every day from the first of April, which
continues until end of October. Ferries depart at 08:30 AM from
Samos and Kusadasi. The return time is 17:00 PM from Samos and

The Samos island is the gateway
between Kusadasi and the rest of the Greek Islands and thus Greece
main land. From Samos one can reach islands like Ikaria, Mykanos,
Santorini, Pireaus and more.
